MAYA - SE Films
MAYA - a short film for my queer filmmaking class! The prompt was make a film with mixed media so this was filmed on my iPhone 14 Pro and a flip camera I found at the thrift store! Is this the greatest film I ever made, no; but I do think the editing came out pretty cool!
Logline
Maya is an analog horror /
comedy following a girl in a
mental downward spiral who
starts noticing that everyone
around her is constantly saying
her name, and the only word she
can see anywhere is “Maya.” As
reality warps around her, she’s
forced to question whether it’s
paranoia, a hallucination, or
something far more sinister.
